| Title: | Big Money Tree |

| Media: | Sculpture: Mixed Media; Wood, paper, mirrors |
| Date: | 2007 |
| Dimensions: | 9"w x 15"h |
| Price: | Sold |
| Notes: | After reading the book, The Golden Spruce by John Vaillant, I felt the need to express my distress over the fact that our forests are now disappearing rapidly all over the world. The destroying "money-pine beetles" represent the corporations' greed and lack of concern for our planet's future, and the mirrors in the eyes reflect back our own involvement with the choices we make. This piece is constructed from castoff bark and recycled paper bags. (9"w x 15"h x 3"d) |
